We are grateful to all of our Seussical sponsors, including Youthtown and Creative Communities NZ and our thanks to everyone who gave so freely of their time and expertise.

Obirin Exchange

Last year Obirin High School Staff and Students from Tokyo, were very pleased with the program St Kevin's College and Host Families provided for their students. It was planned that this should become an annual event.

Unfortunately due to the turmoil both in Japan and in Christchurch, the visit has been postponed until 2012. Naturally we understand the feelings of parents at times like this and would probably make the same decision.

Seussical The Musical Opens In Oamaru

"Now that is a very unusual hat. I wonder what's under a hat such as that."

What was under that hat was the cast, orchestra and crew of Seussical The Musical which opened last night to a great audience in the College Auditorium. The students were a credit to the College with a high standard of acting and musical performance and Director Margie Newton was delighted with evening. We wish the Seussical Team all the very best for the rest of their season which will finish with a performance on Sunday afternoon. Tickets are available from the school office and some door sales may be available - $15 for adults and $10 for students/children.
