National Title Winner

Congratulations to Yr10 student Lisa Speden who, along with her corgie "Pete" took the Novice-Mini/Micro division at the National Dog Training Assembly 2011 Show in Christchurch. Pete was the only corgie in the competition but stood tall against the longer-legged dogs. Lisa has been training with the North Otago Dog Training Club for two years and along with the other club members we are very proud of Lisa and her achievement. Well done!

Operation Christmas Child

Thank you to all of the students, staff and families who generously donated gifts for the Samaritan's Purse Operation Christmas Child. A selection of boxes were gratefully on display in our College Office and we are sure that they will bring much joy to children in need.

Scholarship Award

Congratulations to Yr13 student Lydia Inglis who has been awarded a Central Lakes Trust Tertiary Scholarship towards her study for 2012. A key strength of their scholarship programme is that it is open to all young people currently in Year 13 or who are undertaking a GAP year and who come from the Trust's region.

As one of our House Captains Lydia is well deserving of this accolade and we wish her all the best for her study next year.
