This week we farewelled a group of students from our sister school in China Gong'an No. 1 School who stayed with us for 10 days. Some of our students accompanied them on a visit to Dunedin last weekend. A big thank you to the hostel students who made them feel welcome.
The opportunity is there for our students to visit Gong'an if they wish.
We invited the Police to come and speak to the students about cyber safety this week. This was very informative and covered topics like appropriate use of social media and keeping yourself safe online with regards to what information you share online. A big thank you to Lou for organising this.
Hostel shuts this afternoon for a mid term Exeat weekend. Hostel reopens on Monday at 2pm.
Winter tournament is next week with basketball, netball, football, rugby and hockey teams all away.
