Congratulations to former student Courtney Kerin who competed in the finals of the World Freestyle Kayak Championships in Platting, Germany over the weekend. After a tough start she showed her strength to take the silver medal in the junior womens division. Courtney has been attending New River Academy and will continue to travel and kayak around the USA and Canada before returning home later this year.
