Wednesday saw a very brave group travel to Dunedin for the annual Southern Catholic Secondary Schools Junior Winter Tournament, and while the Football and Rugby soldiered on as best they could in the saturating conditions, the Basketball and Netball teams had the luxury of the Edgar Centre. It was unfortunate that the persistent rain and associated freezing conditions called a halt to games on the rugby field and football pitch, but these players displayed the Kevinian grit to persevere regardless. With wins in the Y9 and Y10 Netball, Boys Football, Y7&8 Rugby and a second place in the Y9&10 Rugby, St Kevin's/St Joseph's placed 2= overall. Thank you to the staff and parents who supported and traveled with the teams and well done to all who participated in the day!
