The school holidays took an investigative turn for Y9 student Abbey Mabon when she was invited to attend the Kristin School Forensic Camp in Auckland. The five day camp gives students an insight into the world of forensic science with a mock crime scene and all the tools for investigating, testing and analysing evidence to solve the case. The camp concluded with Abbey and her team mates presenting their evidence for the prosecution in a mock court room trial! Abbey said it was really fun and she enjoyed the guest speakers who came long to share what forensic science was like in the real world.
