Principal's Comment

Kia ora Kevinians and Supporters of the College

Welcome to my final blog post for 2015.  As I reflect on our achievements, I am sure you will agree that it has been another year of outstanding academic, sporting and cultural success.  Thank you to the many staff, caregivers and supporters who have enriched the learning experiences available to our students. Your contribution, in both classroom and co-curricular settings, has really helped to develop the character and values of our young people. One of the emerging areas of strength has been increasing the number of school – business partnerships. Thank you to employers, local business and service groups who have mentored students in a diverse range of activities.

This year we have a number of staff movements that I would like to acknowledge. Mr Burton - HoF Arts, Mrs Newton - Drama, Mrs Jackson - Dean of Vocational Pathways, Miss Casey - HoF Physical Education, Mrs Potter- HoF Mathematics. We wish you every success in retirement, change of career and promotion respectively. I am pleased to welcome Mr Smith – HoF PE (past pupil), Mr Bristow – English and Mrs Ambler – Science, into the College to build on the excellent results already achieved.

May you receive every Christmas blessing and spend valued time with family and friends.

Advent Blessings
Paul Olsen, Principal
