St Kevin's was very well represented by our students, across all year levels, at the Aorangi region Junior Young Farmer of the Year competition (formally the Teen Ag contest). They were tested on their tractor driving and water trough repairing skills, as well as knowledge of animal digestive systems and produce growing conditions.
We didn't make the finals but everyone had fun and really enjoyed the experience!
The club meets every Tuesday lunch time in the Ag room and are keen to hear from anyone who can offer activity ideas, advice, resources or sponsorship. Please contact Bridget Hunter or Mrs Eatherley via school email.
