Along with students from Waitaki Girls and Waitaki Boys High Schools, our Y12 students took part in the Drive To Survive programme which was held at the Waitaki Recreation Centre yesterday. This is just one of many programmes delivered to young people by DARE Foundation, the New Zealand Police Education Officers and other specialist agencies. Our thanks also go to Elton Crane, WDC Road Safety Co-ordinator, and our local rescue services for delivering this important programme.
