The Kakanui Bridge will be closed for 5 days from 5 July for scheduled structural repairs. This will effect Kakanui bus students who live on the Wainakarua Rd side of the bridge. Cyclists and pedestrians will still be able to cross the bridge.
Ritchies have arranged for the Kakanui bus to meet students at the monument on the corner of Fenwick St and Kakanui Rd, which means that whilst the repairs are taking place students will need to make arrangements to get to the bridge and meet the bus on the other side.
