The Equestrian Team headed to Palmerston last weekend for the Palmerston-Waihemo A&P Show, and the 2017 Interschools Equestrian Competition. Lead by captain Caitlin Middlemiss the girls had an outstanding day, bringing home a number of individual and team placings. Ellen Swanson 2nd in the Individual Jump 60cm, Ella Sanderson 3rd in the 70cm Individual Jump, Anna Wallis 2nd at 90cm and the SKC Blue team 4th in the Team Jumping. In the Dressage event Caitlin took 1st place in the L:1 Class 3 and Anna Wallis placed 3rd in the L:1 Class 4. SKC Blue placed 2nd in the Team Dressage and also brought home 1st place medals for the Turnout competition. Congratulations!
The teams were SKC Red - Kayleigh Gill, Fenella Ballantyne, Ella Sanderson, Chloe Tillard, Lucy Hellewell and Georgina Houston. SKC Blue - Anna Wallis, Caitlin Middlemiss, Brooke Clark, Ellen Swanson and Anna Craig.
