SADD- 'Focus or Fail' Activity

Last week we had Elton Crane from Road Safety Waitaki at school helping our SADD Committee run a ‘Focus or Fail’ activity.

Students created an obstacle course and timed people completing the course, then had them repeat the same course but doing it while they simultaneously completed a complex task. The idea demonstrated how distractions affect reaction times and accuracy when you are not focused.
