The 2020 New Zealand Highland Dancer of the Year competition was held this past weekend in Blenheim.
Competitors came from all over the country, and Year 10 student Olivia Mavor competed in the Under 16 Section.
Olivia had success in all 10 of her dances, with the highlight winning the Irish Reel Under 16 Championship. Points are accumulated over the 10 dancers and she was very excited to be ranked 3rd overall in the Under 16 section!
