Graduation
evening began with students, parents and staff attending the liturgy that was
centred around journey. Students were
reminded of the highlights of their spiritual journey while at the College and
then given advice on how to move forward on the next steps of life. Father Wayne gave a moving address reminding
them about self responsibility.
Moving
on to the Homestead who were hosting the Graduation Dinner, it was wonderful to
see so many friends and family present, especially with a number of students
being the “last in line”. An ex-pupil,
Mr Alex Neill, was the guest speaker. He
included his journey at St Kevin’s beginning in Year 7 to his Graduation in
Year 12. Students were inspired by his
achievements and advice.
