Special Character - Social Justice Week

Alex Kircher from 9N was one of the team out and about collecting for the Stroke Street Appeal

We celebrated Social Justice Week with a presentation at assembly and a visit from Catherine Gibbs who is the Caritas National Education Co-ordinator. Charlotte Hunt, President of JAG, organised six Year 13 students to speak about their part time jobs and what they had learned from the experience.  The presentation fitted in with the Social Justice theme meaningful work for young employees.  Students from Year 9 were rostered on throughout the Stroke Street Appeal day and enjoyed the opportunity to give back to the community.
