Sharing Our Cultures

This week is Tongan Language Week / Uike Kātoanga’i ‘o e Lea Faka-Tonga and this year the theme of the week is ‘Fakakoloa Aotearoa ‘Aki ‘Ae Nofo 'A Kainga’  — Enriching Aotearoa with our Family Values.   It is appropriate that the first of our College FIRE Values is "Family".

Today at assembly Esafe Tokai, along with Teufolau Tokai, Tupou Fifita, Paea Fifita, Ovini Saro and Samuel Babiau lead the liturgy beginning with a Tongan hymn before sharing with us the Sign of the Cross and the Lord's Prayer in Tongan.   Thank you boys for leading today and we wish the Pasifika Group all the best as they enter the last week of preparations for Polyfest 2017 in Dunedin next Thursday.
