Senior Art Trip

On Friday, the Senior Art students spent the day in Dunedin being inspired.

Photography students visited the Dunedin School of Art with Mrs Plunkett and Ms Keep. They spent an hour or so in a studio experimenting with different lighting with technician Thomas Lord before going up to the dark room to create different photograms with Rachel Allan, and learning developing techniques and how the whole process happens.

Painting and Sculpture students spent the day at the Dunedin Art Gallery with Mr and Mrs Dixon under the care of Gallery educator John Neumegen. They toured in the morning before a session in the Gallery classroom in the afternoon. They finished the day by joining the photography students at Art School for a whistle stop tour of the facilities.
