Online Payments

I wish to alert caregivers to a change in the MUSAC payment system for credit and online payments.

The credit card surcharge incurred by schools using the online payment system is not sustainable as we are a "not for profit organisation" and have no way of recovering this shortfall in the payment. In order to give transparency about the additional cost involved, the finance package now separates out this cost so you can see the service cost. (2.5% +GST for credit cards)

This is the only fair way to address this issue as the other option was to build in online costs to the initial figure which meant everyone was charged, even if you did not use the service.

As always, you may pay at the school office. Please do not deposit money directly into the school account directly, as the time and energy required to sort and reconcile these random payments against your account is an unfair burden on office staff and increases the overall administration costs which we are trying very hard to keep to a minimum.
