Our annual Spring Mass was held last Sunday amidst a profusion of spring flowers. "From darkness to light" was the theme. Hannah Miraere, Brittany More, Sarah Dooley and Tiana Mihaere celebrated colour through movement, with the Edmund Rice Singers beautiful performance a highlight of the Mass. Brother Damien Price preached about being "True to our colour". Our grateful thanks to Helen Mulheron for this wonderful Mass. Helen has been organising Spring Masses in our chapel for the past 22 years having been inspired by a Spring Church service in Westminster.
The Year 9 girls from the Hostel celebrated the arrival of Spring with a picnic at Willowpark, Papakaio. Our thanks to Jodi Ryan for acting as chaperon for the day and to hosts Gloria and Ian Hurst.
