On Friday 2nd November, a contingent of 35
students, staff and parents travelled to Timaru for the 2012 Aoraki Secondary
Schools Sports Awards. Congratulations to the following students and staff who

Special congratulations to Holly, Rosie, Johannah and Albert
who won their categories, and to Stacey and Micayla who received ‘OSCAR’ Awards
for outstanding achievements in trampoline and rodeo respectively. All of the
students heard an inspiring speech from 22 year old Black Stick, Gemma Flynn
who competed at both the Beijing and London Olympics. We look forward to seeing
our outstanding sportspeople follow in her footsteps in their chosen sports!
