Congratulations to Janaya Allan from St Joseph's School on her impressive calculation of the ever popular problem ... how many jelly beans can you fit in a jar??
Last night the College Open Evening saw all of the Faculties full of interactive activities and the Maths Department bribed the sweet tooth of prospective students with a mathematical challenge. There were exactly 312 jelly beans in Mrs Potter's jar and Janaya was the closest answer with 300. Well done!
