Mead Te Pirita Secondary School Shoot

The SKC Trapshooting team Corban Hocken, Ryan Kennedy, Joel Klenner, Clark Ewing, Jack Murphy and Hunter Reading competed against Canterbury Schools in Rakaia on August 19.
There were 4 St Kevin's shooters out of 6 in the shoot off for Single Rise (70 shooters in the competition in total) and our team of shot possibles (maximum points) in the end. Clark Ewing  placed 1st the Single Rise in the A grade competition as well as a 2nd in the Single Barrel A grade competition.
Corban Hocken also placed, coming in 2nd in the A grade Skeet, and Ryan Kennedy took 4th in the A grade Single Barrel. SKC came Second overall in the shoot to Lincoln College, who beat them by 2 points.
