Congratulations to the Intermediate A Netball team who came away with 2nd place at the Aoraki Netball Competition on Sunday in Timaru.  They remained unbeaten in their pool, besting Waitaki Girls, Geraldine, Mountain View and Roncalli College.  The girls went on to play Ashburton College in the final but despite a hard fought effort (and pouring rain!) they couldn't clinch the trophy.  However, an excellent tournament for the girls with coach Micayla Brenssell praising the efforts of Nadia Kerr who stepped up from the Intermediate B team, and Zoe McCormick's excellent shooting in the circle.
