The weather finally played it's part and allowed football to get under way and while there was a brief frost on the ground the sky was blue! The rugby boys set up a good omen for the interschool against Waitaki Boys withe a resounding 23-16 win at Milner Park in the 1st XV Highlanders competition. On the netball courts our girls faced some tough games with wins to both the Junior A and B teams. A big thank you to the girls who stepped up to help out other teams and a reminder to all girls and parents... as with all sports, if you signed the netball permission slip you are expected to attend all practices and games.
Well done to all of our SKC sports teams on a great day of games.
