Edmund Rice Leadership Camp 2014

Last week the Top Six arrived back at the College having spent four days at the Edmund Rice Leadership Camp in Auckland.  The camp consisted of working with three other Edmund Rice Schools where they met fellow school leaders and had the opportunity to share thoughts and ideas on the coming year.  Brother Damien from Melbourne lead the camp and in true Brother Damian fashion was an inspiration to everyone.  On the Monday the students ventured out into the greater Auckland area to volunteer at a variety of places ranging from Starship Hospital to the Carlson School for children with cerebral palsy and other schools specialising in the education of children with special needs.  They found the experience very humbling, giving them a new found gratitude for life and what we often take for granted.
