Junior Scripture Reading

Year 10 - Hamuera Turnball, Reuben Mihaere, Sister Madeleine and Celidh Brookes

The Year 9 and 10 Junior RST classes ‘Scripture Reading’ competition was held on the Tuesday following St. Patrick’s Day.  This year’s competitions were adjudicated by retired teacher and former BOT member Dominican Sister Madeleine who gave contestants a good appraisal of how they had performed prior to announcing the winners. First place at Y9 level went to Madeline Harrop,  2^nd placed was Georgia Oakes followed by Rebecca Whittet in 3^rd place. The first placed contestant at Year 10 level was Celidh Brookes, 2^nd was Reuben Mihaere and 3^rd place went to Hamuera Turnball.
