During the weekend the Girls Hostel saw the launch of the community aspect of the Ritejourney. There are four parts to this journey. Three of the Year 10 students went to Iona Rest Home where they did volunteer work, involving reading letters and playing bingo with the residents. Year 13 student Andrew Easton and the rest of the residents were very excited to have the girls there, bringing their fun and energy into their day. The girls were excellent representatives of the College and plans were made to start a small, non alcoholic, Happy Hour on a Friday afternoon with guests from the Hostel or College attending.
