Last week, our Hockey, Basketball, Rugby and Football teams competed at tournaments across the South Island. St Kevin's teams performed well. The Girls Hockey won the Jenny McDonald Cup beating Cromwell 3-0 in their final. Senior Boys Basketball finished 2nd at the South Island A competition. The U15 Boys Rugby came 5th out of 27 teams at the Co-Ed tournament. Peleki Tangifolau was named in the tournament team, and the 1st X1 Boys football team had their best finish ever, finishing 8th.
Our Junior Boys Basketball team came 17th at the South Islands. Boys Hockey and Girls 1st XI Football both finished 15th in their respective tournaments, and Girls Rugby placed 16th. Senior A netball finished 22nd in A grade.
Congratulations to everyone who participated and a huge thanks to all coaches, managers, volunteers and parents who supported the students this season.
