Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award ceremony

Congratulations to Sarah Dodd and past SKC pupil Ami Wallace who were awarded the Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award on Saturday, September 1 at Wigram Airforce Museum in Christchurch. The award, which is the highest in the award scheme, was presented by the Governor General Dame Patsy Reddy.
To qualify for the award, recipients must complete a number of service, physical recreation and skill development hours as well as complete an adventurous journey and a residential project. They were among 37 other students from throughout NZ to receive the prestigious award. Great work, girls!
