St Thomas Exchange

Today marked the conclusion of a two day interschool between the College and St Thomas' of Canterbury and the weather certainly played it's part, giving the competing teams perfect playing conditions.

In the first innings Matt Brien took 3-38 and Brian Driessens3-13, some solid bowling performances.  Brady Kingan notched up a total of 37 and Hamish Robertson a patient batting total of 28 against some tough competition.

In the second innings leg spinner Shaun Kellier took a commendable 5-39 and was ably supported by Matt Brien who followed up his good first innings bowling performance taking 3-18.  St Thomas' set St Kevin's 149 to win and after a challenging start to the second innings which saw the boys slump to 24-4 they are currently fighting back with Brady Kingan scoring 21 and Hamish Robertson 15 no (at time of blogging!)
