Congratulations to Tom Halkett, Kaz Kobayashi, Hamish Robertson and Matt Brien, all of whom have been selected for Otago Basketball Development Squads - Tom, Kaz and Hamish for the U19 squad and Matt for the U17. There is some fierce competition for starting line up places but we wish the boys all the very best as they go up against the region's other up-and-coming basketball stars!
Professional basketballer Mark Dickel is currently traveling to Oamaru each Wednesday to run free coaching sessions at the Waitaki Recreation Centre. This is an amazing opportunity for North Otago basketball players and anyone interested can contact the Waitaki Recreation Centre for details.
