Following on from Julia Fauth's gold medal performance in the U16 Girls Single at the Aon Maadi Regatta on Friday, she and Tiana Mihaere teamed up for the A Final of the U16 Girls Double on Saturday morning. With strong performances throughout the regatta they were in a favourable position and kept the pressure on to take the silver medal with a time of 7:47.01 just .39sec behind the Roncalli crew.
Julia has also been selected to trial for the U17 South Island Team as a result of her consistently strong performances at Maadi.
