Drama Road Trip

NASDA students during their production of Beauty and the Beast in 2012.
On Wednesday Mrs Newton and some students from her senior drama class took to the road and headed to NASDA for the day, the National Academy for Singing and Dramatic Arts.  Students who study at NASDA are completing a Bachelor in Performing Arts and the Academy is situated within the campus of CPIT. While they were there, they lived a typical NASDA student's day which included sitting in on a tap class, joining the school for the first solo singing performances for first year students, listening to an acting class in action and watching rehearsals for their upcoming production of Hair.  Students were invited to join in the warm up session before the rehearsal and took away some great exercises and games. Thank you to Mrs Newton and Mr Dixon for facilitating the day.
