Congratulations to Year 9 student Caitlin Middlemiss who successfully competed at the Christchurch School of Gymnastics Invitational Competition held over Queen's Birthday Weekend. Up against 50 other gymnasts in her grade (Step 4) she placed 1st for the beam and 2nd for floor, vault and bars which gave her 1st overall! Caitlin has been the Level 1, 2 and 3 South Island Champion for the past three years, and is travelling to Dunedin this weekend where she will compete up a grade to Step 5 with the hopes of qualifying for the Nationals at the end of this year.
