Yesterday three teams from the College traveled to St Bede's College in Christchurch for the hotly contested annual interschool. While the scoreboards did not go the way of the boys much should be said of their tenacity and determination. Mr Fowler and the 1st XV in particular had a hard fought battle with the home team and held the lead until a last minute try by St Bede's snatched victory in a tight 22-24 game. Thank you to all of the parents and old boys and girls of the College who came out to support the teams - you were noticed and very much appreciated by the boys on the playing fields.
