Weekend Sporting Results

There were a mixed bag of results this past weekend.  Both the 1st XV and U16 rugby teams had great wins - 1st XV overpowered Mt Aspiring 31-15 with a fantastic effort under pressure and the U16's took a mammoth 86-12 win over Harlequins.  In football the boys played well against Timaru Boys Mambas with a 3-2 win, while the girls had a postponement for the blue team and a 3-2 loss for the red.  Netball had an assorted day - losses to Senior A, Senior B and Senior Red, a draw for Intermediate A, a win for Junior A and Junior Red, and with Intermediate B playing Junior B one had to come out the winner with the Juniors taking the honours.
