Otago Secondary Schools Netball Tournament

Three netball teams traveled to Dunedin on Sunday for the Otago Secondary Schools Netball Tournament, competing in the Junior, Intermediate and Senior A grades.  The Senior A and Intermediate teams faced tough competition, both finishing in 12th place.  The Junior team had a very successful tournament, taking 3rd place in their grade.  They were unbeaten in their pool with wins against Mt Aspiring College, Bayfield High School and St Hilda's Collegiate which advanced them to the top 8 round on the Monday where they took wins over Dunstan High School and Wakatipu High School.  A loss to Taieri College (who eventually won the grade) saw them play for 3rd/4th place and the win against Mt Aspiring.  A great effort from the whole team and their coach Tiana Mihaere.  Congratulations to all of the girls who competed in the spirit of the College.
