Once again the calibre of public speaking at St Kevin's was highlighted when Deputy Head Girl Special Character Kaleisha Jones took first place at the Oamaru Lions Speech Competition, held on Sunday. Sydney Telfer (Yr12) came in third place. The art of public speaking is steeped in Kevinian tradition with all students participating at some level during their time at the College. Kaleisha will take part in the national final which will be held in Tauranga in August. Well done!
