On Wednesday 100 students from the College and St Joseph's School (Yr 7 & 8) traveled to Dunedin to the Junior Quad Tournament, hosted by Kavanagh College. They were joined by teams from Verdon College (Invercargill) and St Peter's College (Gore) to compete in netball, rugby, boys and girls football, and boys and girls basketball. The weather window held for the day and all of the students who competed were complimented by Miss Janelle Casey for their fantastic efforts on the playing fields and courts. Despite not entering teams into three events at Yr 7 and 8 level, the St Kevin's/St Joseph's team took 2nd place overall, behind the winners Kavanagh College.
A big thank you to Mr Mawson, Mr Seddon, Mrs Evans, Mrs Leong Son, Mr Dixon and all of the student referees and coaches who went down for the day.
