Our Aoraki Swim Team hit the water in Timaru last week at the Aoraki Secondary Schools Swimming for 2015. Congratulations to Hannah Cunningham, Jayde Pickworth and Jaxson McDonald-Piner on some great results. Jayde picked up a 3rd and a 2nd in the Girls 15 & Over 50m Freestyle and 50m Backstroke events, while Jaxson scored two 1st placings, a 2nd and a 3rd in the Boys U14 section. He also broke not one, but two records at the meet in the 50m Freestyle (26.15) and the 50m Butterfly (29.51). Hannah secured a 7th and two 6th placings in her first regional swim meet for the College. Well done!
