Principal's Comment

Kia ora Kevinians and Supporters

Congratulations to the Home & School team for organising a very successful quiz evening on Monday night. Thank you to all those who coordinated teams and purchased raffles. The fundraiser was well attended and has netted over $1000.

This week the New Zealand Qualifications Authority conducted their three yearly school audit. This is a detailed review of all our assessment systems and I am pleased to report that we have received and excellent report card. Thank you to Mrs Potter and Mr Ryan who have oversight in these areas and manage very effectively a complex network of procedures.

This morning I was honoured to attended the annual Maadi Breakfast. This occasion is a show of support for our local rowers who are heading off to Lake Karapiro for the Maadi Cup week. Molly Kay, Georgia Dyson, and Reuben Mihaere are pictured with the Maadi tops they recieved for the occasion. We wish them and all our local rowers every success.
We are expecting the Caregiver's portal to have the Attitude to Learning (fortnightly indicators) functioning this weekend. If you are having trouble getting into the portal, feel free to ring the school office for advice. Musac do recommend that you use "Google Chrome" as your internet browser and the login email needs to be the one we hold in our school records. You will soon also be able to use this portal to pay accounts on-line.

May God bless you in this Lenten season
Paul Olsen, Principal
