On the 15th of August the College gathered in the Chapel to celebrate the Feast of St Dominic, who founded the Dominican Order. It was the Dominican Sisters who founded both St Thomas' and Teschemakers, the two girls' schools that are part of our tradition. It is their motto "Veritas" that we have at the College today. We were delighted to welcome the local Dominican Sisters to the Mass and recognised the Dominican focus on the importance of education with the presentation of the Dominican Academic Awards during the Mass. Congratulations to all those students who received awards.
