The good ol' days of grassroots rugby came to St Kevin's on Saturday when the 1st XV faced Gore High School in the middle-four final. The wet conditions suited the Southland visitors and they came away with the win, 32-18. However, there should be nothing taken away from the St Kevin's side who have had an excellent season this year. Well done boys!
The Senior A Netball team will go up against Excelsior in the Premier Netball Final this coming Saturday, their first Premier Final since 2008. The girls won against Eastern with a comfortable 31-23 win and have shown excellent form all season. Also facing up in final this Saturday are the Senior B team who will play Waitaki Girls Wildfire.
